My Project

I teach the littlest learners in a blended classroom of model students and students who have disabilities. Being age 3-5 they learn best hands on and through diverse learning experiences. The light table along with the manipulatives will give students a chance to practice the most basic skills and pre-academic skills to prepare them for Kindergarten. There is patterning, sorting and counting to support math development along with tactile letter formation activities. Also, I included some building fun which my students always enjoy. All this learning will take place on an amazing color changing light table. This will soon be one of my students favorite centers and with all the variety it will keep them engaged in learning. It will seem like fun so it don't feel as difficult to my students who struggle in these areas. Being a blended classroom helps students learn from each other in this hands on opportunity.
