My Students

We are a small, rural county school of 55 kids, grades Pre-K to 12. Some of our classes are split classes with more than one grade.

Most of our students receive free breakfast and lunch each day.

The school's town has only about 200 people, yet some families commute to attend our school because of our small class sizes. We have a dedicated staff that cares about all of our students. There will be 10 students (grades 1 -2) who will benefit from this project.

My Project

Our class is seeking two laptop computers to have in our first/second grade split classroom. Having our own laptops will allow students to do math and reading games on web sites like Learning Odyssey, access the Accelerated Reader program, do research for projects, and much more! I intend to rotate my students on these computers throughout the day as one of their Learning Centers. These are devices that WILL BE USED and are very much needed. These laptops will be another way to solidify learning and bring the kids to the age of technology. Please help us make this a reality!
