Help me give my students a better learning opportunity by allowing them to have flexible seating by choosing to sit on a wobble stool, exercise ball, inflatable donut ball, wobble cushion, or choosing a lap stand!
Each and every student that enters my classroom leaves a long impression on my heart. They are all very special and each have their own personalities that make them so unique. One of the best parts of being a teacher is getting a chance to be a part of their lives even if it's for a short amount of time and getting the chance to show each one of them the true meaning of love and give them the support they need to be successful in life.
Many students in my class like to be able to move around and be comfortable when learning.
Allowing my students to have flexible seating in the classroom would allow students to find their best spot that helps them to stay calm, which allows them to be be focused and productive. This is something I want to be able to bring into my classroom with a more calming learning environment.
My Project
I want students to be able to choose a place in the classroom that makes them feel comfortable and yet stimulated and engaged to learn. By providing flexible seating with the items, this will allow students to make those choices and help them become better lifelong learners! Students will be able to move throughout the room and choose the spot that best fits their needs at that time. Students enjoy being able to choose their place of learning. Many students have been used to this type of seating in their previous grade, and I would like to be able to continue that type of seating option for them.
