My Project
As an educator in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the countless challenges they face, I see students who are willing and determined to learn, but just don't always have the opportunity, or materials, to do so properly. Many of the students don’t have even the most basic necessities at home, yet they come into school every day with a big bright smile on their face because they want to discover and learn all they can, so they can be successful in their future.
