My Students

I teach at a wonderful school that focuses on the physical, social, and emotional needs of all students. My class is full of young minds that are very eager to learn and explore. My kindergarten students come to class every day excited about our adventures for that day. Our classroom is an inclusion room. This means that I have both regular education students and special education students.

I want to create a positive and engaging environment to foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime!

My Project

This project will provide my class with five Ozobot Bits. Bits are small robots that help teach children about beginning coding skills. What is super cool about Bits is that they are programmed by students using different colors of markers on paper. The Bit reads the color and the path and follows it. This is a great resource for early childhood. This is a resource that all students can successfully use!

Ozobot Bits will create a sense of excitement about coding skills with my kindergarten students!

Ozobot Bits will allow my students to collaborate with each other to figure out what works best to create a successful path for the Bit to follow. They will also have to problem-solve when something does not work.
