Learning Balance Skills Early Puts a Pause on Climate Change
Help me give my students Strider Sport Bikes to use as early developmental tools to combat climate change by learning balance so they can ride bicycles as a clean mode of transportation to help the environment.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Bicycling helps fight Climate Change. The Strider Sport bikes are the perfect way to learn balance skills, which develops right/left brain integration as well as overall confidence! Many of our younger students have older siblings that already know how to ride.
The goal for this project is to bring Strider Bikes to TK-2nd Graders in order to fight climate change with the balance skills needed for riding bicycles.
I love our students because they are eager to learn, and they are very respectful with one another. As well, they all live within biking distance from school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
