This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
There are 100 kindergartens that are currently learning from home due to the COVID - 19 pandemic. I enjoy every teachable moment with my students and I am sure they enjoy learning. My students are young and really didn’t understand what is really going on.
We have virtual learning daily, my students and I really enjoyed being able to see each other on the computer.
I enjoy reading them books and doing different activities with them. I would love to provide each one of my students with books, paper, crayons, markers, scissors and other resources that they need to make virtual learning enjoyable during this pandemic!
My Project
During this COVID -19 pandemic, students have to change their way of learning. Students are learning from home. Our students were sent home with Ela, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, and STEM Learn at Home packets. While teaching virtually, helping my students with their "Learn at Home" packets, I realized that most of the students didn't have the materials required to do their work.
I would like help with providing my students the tools needed to "Learn at Home!" With crayons, pencils, markers, scissors, rulers, paper, and glue sticks students will not be heart broken when it time to do an assignment.
It is hard to have required work to do and not the tools to use to do the work.
