Our school is located on Cleveland's West Side. My Pre-K is a Head Start site, and all of the students must qualify to be in the program via the Head Start guidelines which means they are below the poverty level.
I have students from many different ethnic backgrounds.
The students of my class are 4 or turning 5 after October. They are happy, energetic and a ton of fun to be around. I get to see the world through their eyes and laugh each and every day with them.
My Project
My students have been learning at home since September. We just found out that we will continue the remote learning through January and perhaps February, therefore I need some additional resources for the children to use at home. Pre-K is all hands-on learning and is much easier when the children have the needed materials to use. The CDs will help with some of the materials that were previously purchased like bean bags, rhythm sticks and balls. The more engaged I can keep the children the better chances of them learning and retaining the information.
