Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. As a first year teacher, I am unsure of what this year will entail. However, I know that my students will be ready to learn and are looking forward to a safe classroom environment through a virtual platform.
My Project
Learning at home is our new realty for students and educators. It may be challenging for teachers, families, and students, but it is not impossible. In fact, the future is bright for our educators and students at home.
The next generation of learners will develop mindsets much like entrepreneurs, always challenging themselves to solve problems in innovative ways.
For this to happen, our students must be equipped with the appropriate supplies, in terms of technology and tactile supplies. With the money I receive from donors, I will purchase supplies for my students that are needed for a virtual platform. In addition, Teachers Pay Teachers will provide me with the proper online resources to provide engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction. Our students need support more than ever in these chaotic and uncertain times. The donations I receive will go towards engaging lessons that keep my students learning from the virtual times until we are back in school again.
