Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager to learn and love to get their hands dirty while learning. We love to explore as a class. Learning is fun. They are very competitive and love to achieve. Students need to be able to learn in an environment that will help them learn and in which they feel comfortable. I want them to feel successful in school and learn to love the journey of learning. It is so fun to see their faces when they figure out the assignment through exploration and connect all the information. We are integrating reading, science, and math. It is so great to see them talk about learning and how much fun it is to be in school.
My students are from low-income or homeless backgrounds and don't get many opportunities for exploring or trying new things, and this will allow them to do both.
These items will help them to enjoy learning and have a desire to engage in learning.
My Project
These supplies are to help my students to be able to have all the supplies they need to complete school work at home. Supplies are to be used with school work and being successful at home. The pencils, paper, and binders will help keep all the information they need organized and in one place. Online school is so difficult for students that have so many other distractions this will help them. I know what they need to do and have all the supplies they need.
