This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need some technology to use in their homes for distance learning. They have been at home since the first week of March since we went into quarantine right after Spring Break. As for distance learning, many students use their parent's mobile device if they are available because they do not have a proper computer or laptop at home. Most of my students have multiple siblings who are also using the same mobile devices. I am doing twice daily class meetings with my class, as well as many mobile assignments using various digital programs.

My Project

Most of my students do not have technology at home. Now with this instant at home learning that was thrown at them, most students are not able to participate in at home learning. Of course most of the assignments given are to be completed on mobile devices.

Giving each of my students a Kindle will greatly help them in their at home learning.

They will able to participate in our meetings, as well as complete assignments and use the online programs that we are requiring them to use during this time of distance learning.
