These are unprecedented times. When we left each other in March due to "temporary closing" I thought we would come back together soon. Then with each order from the Governor, we were removed further and further apart. My heart aches due to this separation. Yet, school is not over!
We have embarked on the distance learning journey!
We are actively working together, learning together, and excelling together! The students check in with me through Google Forms. I send video chats to them to keep them encouraged. In addition, I am recording lessons at home for them to view and continue to learn new material. I am at a loss for words at the resiliency and eagerness to stay connected from some of the toughest students. I need more help though, so please consider helping us.
My Project
Hello, help our students learn at home and with distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are not able to leave their homes due to the quarantine in our country. The students need a variety of activities that support hands-on learning.
My students need fun, engaging, mentally healthy activities during this pandemic.
My students will receive art and craft supply materials in kits. Then we will zoom and meet to discuss their individual projects. Students will make dioramas, environments, art projects. Mental Health is so very important especially during these scary times.
The materials I am requesting will help my students create a calm down bottle and calming sand trays.
