Help me give my students take home learning activities to extend their learning.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Angie's classroom raised $433
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are the youngest learners who come from diverse backgrounds. I teach two sessions of preschool. Each session is a mix of typically developing students and those with special needs. In both classes, there are also several students that are English as new learners. Each child comes to school with varying experiences and backgrounds. They need to be motivated and challenged every day.
We are a high-poverty district in which 78% of the students in the township qualify for free and reduced-price lunches.
I believe all children have potential and can participate in all activities given the right motivation.
My Project
Learning happens everywhere! The more access my students have to materials the more learning can happen in and out of the classroom.
Take Home Learning Kits will provide my students with a variety of learning opportunities in both language and math concepts at home.
The kits will be available for families to check out to help carry over school learning at home. Each kit will have books, manipulatives, as well as a list of activities that the families are able to do at home to extend the learning at home.
