My Students
As we enter a new way of teaching during this pandemic, my students are engaging in online lessons that will help build their confidence in their abilities. We are coming together through video chats to continue our classroom culture. My students are working hard each week to make sure they stay on track with our Growth Mindset goals we set at the beginning of the year.
The students in my class and at my school are full of curiosity, drive, and enthusiasm.
They work very hard to achieve success in everything they do. Each student makes their mark in their own creative ways. My classroom supports a diverse population, including students with a variety of learning needs. These include students who are academically gifted, English language learners (ELL), and students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP).
My Project
This project includes materials that will be able to help me teach my students virtually. The white board and dry erase markers will help me be able to show students how to solve a math problem, answer questions about a story, etc. The sentence strips will help me show students how to write cursive letters, write complete sentences with punctuation, and how to write letters correctly. The copy paper will be used to print out important documents such as articulation cards for next year, or records of students.
Monitoring Behavior is still important!
The behavior chart will be used during virtual lessons session. I will use it to monitor students' participation and students' behavior during our live video chats.
