This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My high school students come from low-income families. The majority of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches. They often lack the funds to experience cultural activities on their own time. Our population is African-American and Hispanic.

They're very enthusiastic and work hard to reach their goals, often taking leadership roles and setting an example for the entire student body.

Even though most of the time they have everything against them, they're resilient and always try to look on the bright side. They put their best effort to accomplish their goals.

My Project

These materials will allow me to maintain a clean and safe earning environment for my students. They hand sanitizing wipes and disinfectant wipes will allow me to sanitize in-between classes to ensure that students have a clean learning environment. The masks will allow me to provide students with masks when an accident happens to theirs or they are not able to afford a new one.

The wireless microphone will allow me to continue delivering high energy lessons even while wearing a mask.

The ink will allow me to provide students with the ability to provide them with clean copies of documents in the classroom.
