My Project
Help me encourage good behavior in the classroom by allowing my students to "adopt" a desk pet and care for it. The 3D erasers, mini erasers, and snacks will help us with our behavior and be a financial literacy incentive for our Economy unit.
Students can "adopt" a desk pet and earn incentives for kindness and positive behavior by showing our schoolwide skills of the week along with our Economy lessons.
The desk pets also provide a fun companion to read to and practice our math facts. After adopting and caring for their pet, students will be able to take their pet home and start the adoption process over. I'm excited to try this new trend to motivate my students especially as we are heading into the touch time of state testing! We are loving learning and this will be a great lesson in saving, supply and demand for our Economy unit.
