I teach in a rural community with students that come from all different walks of life. Over 30% of our students body is made of students coming from active duty military homes.
My students walk into school each day with new energy and excitement for learning.
They are eager to explore and study the world around them. While my students strive to do well in their academics they also aim to be good citizens, teammates, problem solvers, and critical thinkers.
My Project
This year I will be welcoming 28 new students into my classroom. It has always been my goal as a teacher to foster my students love for learning through a love for reading and engaging activities.
These supplies are going to thrill my students.
My kiddos always love receiving new book studies. One way I foster a love for reading is to read to my students often. This project includes a series of picture books that I will pair with grammar and writing units.
This project also includes STEM supplies that I will use in our studies of force and motion and other science units.
