Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we begin the new school year, many of my first graders are entering the classroom ready to learn and ascend, however some learners need additional support to achieve this. The resources requested will help my students grow in their academic learning. The students will utilize these books to begin reading independently, as well as practice partner reading. These books support both beginning and emerging readers.
With these resources, my students will have the ability to learn and develop.
Reading is a critical component in first grade and with these markers, pencils, and other supplies they will be able to attain this.
