My Project
My Kindergarten students thrive on togetherness. Carpet squares provide a safe and comfortable space for my students to gather during whole group and small group activities. During partner and independent work times, they can choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them to work. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating area while working in with a partner or small group. They are more engaged and get more work completed.
