Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love to have my students working on projects for learning in my classroom. This year alone, we have been working on Codex's for coding, a Google slide on the pro's and con's of our favorite video games, presentation on a famous but not well known scientist, and many more different projects. Their projects require them to work in teams to build teambuilding skills. I would love for each student to have their own individual headphone and mouse.

Coding is the future for these students.

I have added someone coding books for the students and I to read and learn from. I have taken a coding course this year and plan on taking another course this summer to learn python coding to introduce to my fifth graders. This will give them an advantage because I believe students coding will help them towards their future goals.
