Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children learn best through dramatic play and that is very true when they start learning about how to act and how systems work in public spaces like the grocery store. I want to be able to provide a real life place that students will go to everyday in their lives when they get older and this will grow their social skills, understanding of jobs in the community, vocabulary, and how they act in these different places and showing respect. A lot of students might not understand these different jobs and places because they don't get the opportunity to go out with their parents and this can lead to them not respecting them or understanding the position. Giving them the opportunity to learn through play helps them gain these things and grow into a great human.

After teacher kindergarten for one year I have seen how important this is and how much these kids in this class lack all these important things that they could learn just by simply playing through real world things and sharing experiences and connections with each other!

Please help my students grow into the future we are proud of!
