Learning Activities Bringing the Classroom on Screen to You!
Help me give my students Chromebooks and headphones to have exciting new ways to learn. This will help me connect with my virtual students more effectively and will give my in-person students the opportunity to learn through technology.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class is composed of 55 fifth graders in a general education class, with students with IEP and ELL learners and special education students such as autism.
A typical day in my classroom looks active.
My students are engaged in learning activities that get them moving, talking to their peers, and asking great questions. You will not see a lot of worksheets in my classroom. My students are learning through hands-on experiences.
I teach in a Title I school.
My fifth-grade students come from very diverse families. I am excited to share that my school is a genuinely diverse community. Not only do students come from varying ethnic backgrounds and places, but the life experiences that they’ve had are incredibly unique. My scholars are creative, thoughtful, and full of excitement!
My students are 9 and 10-year children that love coming to school. When school was closed in the spring of 2020 due to the pandemic not only were the kids wanting to come back but we missed seeing their smiling faces every day.
My Project
I teach a classroom full of happy students who are excited to learn every day. It is amazing to see them grow and learn throughout the year.
Funds for technology and other learning supplies are not readily available for my students or my classroom and, at times, their motivation could use a boost.
I love seeing them excited and proud and I know that this would really help make their faces light up every day. During these times of keeping social distance and wearing masks, it would make their school day more exciting.
The Chromebooks will benefit my classroom in many ways. This will help me connect with and provide quality activities to my students who are learning at home full time. My in-person students will benefit from the Chromebook by being able to participate in digital activities and practice using technology to learn.
I need to make learning much easier and smoother for myself and students. Most students will be using the Chromebooks at home for remote learning which are also used in the classroom. Having a headphones of their own that they can use for remote learning and in the classroom will be extremely beneficial for me and my students. They will use it for Zoom, Google Slides, Google form, JamBoard and Flipgrid. Please help them get resources they need.
