This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning about the natural world should not be limited to reading about it in a book. Students should be able to visually and physically engage with natural phenomena.

I know that as my students explore and examine fascinating science specimens, they’ll feel just like real scientists making incredible discoveries!

With this set of plant and insect specimens, I hope to encourage my students to learn more about nature. My students are naturally drawn to manipulatives and hands-on learning tools. I am confident these new visual tools will be a high-interest resource for my students. My goal is to make learning about nature more captivating and memorable. Help me inspire my students to learn about the wonders of the natural world.
