This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Kindergarten, we are beginning a new unit called Animals and Habitats! The students have been so excited to learn about the life cycles of Frogs and Salmon so far. Next we will be learning about the life cycles of Owls and Wolves.

I want to provide my students with the opportunities to have hands on experiences and materials to immerse themselves in learning about these different animal life cycles in a fun way!

Our early childhood department provides us with the books needed for this unit, but not with additional materials. I have been able to buy and collect some items related to the life cycles along the way, but this project would really support the students to make learning come alive and make my inclusion classroom truly understand & appreciate the awesome life cycles of these animals!
