This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I admire about my students is their enthusiasm for learning which can be seen in their faces every morning. Despite many challenges in their lives, my students believe in themselves and are ready for any challenge.

With your donation to our project, my students will be able to use the mBot Robot kits to participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lessons.

My students would be able to apply their knowledge of Scratch coding and use the robots to create games and other STEM activities with the robots.

Most importantly, your contribution will also help a group of Latino students who are English learners, get a STEM-based education. Latinos, along with African Americans, are among the most underrepresented in the STEM field.
