Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These science items are designed to spark our preschool students' interest in science from a young age. By engaging with these materials, children will explore cause and effect through activities like adding and shaking objects, fostering their natural curiosity. Additionally, these tools will build their confidence in conducting their own experiments in the future. They are also perfect for small group activities, promoting teamwork and turn-taking among students.

My goals for these projects are to build my students' confidence in asking questions and formulating hypotheses during science activities.

I also aim for them to develop skills in collaboration and turn-taking while working in small groups on experiments. Additionally, I want to cultivate their curiosity about science and cause-and-effect relationships, helping them become critical thinkers.

My students are exceptional because they are dedicated learners with disabilities. I work in a collaborative classroom where my students receive support from service providers to enhance their developmental skills. My co-teacher and I work closely with all the students, fostering a strong sense of community. Together, we strive to provide them with the best education possible.
