My Students

When I think about my students, I think about them as my heroes! They are from every walk of life with all different type of background stories. Their stories range from heart breaking to inspiring and I am in awe of all the road blocks along the way that many of them have overcome. When I look at them, I see the power they hold and the future they can achieve. I hope to have all of them believe in themselves and who they are- to soar and reach for the stars. Recently, we have embarked on a journey. A journey of growth and development of caring for the environment and nature. This has led to us joining together and working as a true family and team. We hope to expand on this journey and continue down the pathway of success.

My Project

My students are immersed in learning about plants and animals this year! We have started our own natural habitat in our classroom and hope to expand this into our school "backyard". Having an expert come into our classroom explaining about bees and pollination continues their knowledge and helps us plan for the spring where we move our learning and knowledge outside!

Having students learn from experts and hands on projects continues to make more an impact to third grade students.

They are able to apply their knowledge and provide habitats for local plants and wildlife. We are continuing our goal towards developing an inside habitat with our terrarium, aquarium and bird feeders. This is another step in our learning that will help us in the spring as we design and develop an outside hands on learning environment,
