My Students

Hands-on, fun activities that introduce our youngest learners to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts is vitally important in the classroom today.

Our school is a K-12 public charter school on the island of Maui in Hawaii.

We are a high tech STEM school, dedicated to preparing our students with the 21st century skills such as thinking and problem solving skills, information skills, and interpersonal skills.

My Project

This funded project will enable us to purchase a variety of littleBits electronics kits to use in our 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms to introduce them to the wonders of electronics and electricity. The students will build interactive creations to make light, sound, and motion!

Young children love hands-on activities that allow them to show off their creative, intelligent solutions.

The littleBits electronics kits are not only fun for students, they are also an excellent introduction to STEM concepts that students will continue to use through their educational career at our school.
