My Project

Learning about diversity and kindness are very important topics that need to be explored and developed at an early age. My Kindergarten students need to see and hear stories that represent them, their culture, their community, and their world.

In our increasingly diverse society, it’s more important than ever for teachers to incorporate culturally responsive instruction in the classroom.

These diverse books will create greater multicultural awareness and promote inclusion to help all students with different backgrounds succeed. I also have included some treats/toys to help us celebrate the end of the school year with some fun.
