This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from different ethnic groups and are special because they are developmentally delayed and have different kinds of abilities that make them unique. I want them to feel comfortable about coming to school and make the classroom an environment that they will enjoy with engaging activities for their age group. My students also come from a low income neighborhood and community. They need to feel safe and secure at their school with their friends and teachers. Please help! Thank you.

My Project

We are learning about buildings in our unit of study. I want to give my students the opportunity to be pretend engineers and construction workers and build thing from their imagination.

Please help me give these little guys some opportunities to expand their learning.

The children will make a science project to build houses and tall buildings. They will learn the names of the tools too. Students will learn about how things word and use the resources to create and use their imagination through science. I know that my students will enjoy doing this.
