My children are so excited to be in school for the first time, and I love teaching them how to be good students. We are learning together how to focus our attention, control our bodies, and show what we know.
We are also learning about habitats and animals.
My class has 4 and 5-year-old children, and many of them are English Language Learners. This is a Jumpstart class for at risk students to develop the skills they will need to be ready for kindergarten.
They love creative play, art, and dancing to music videos! These kids are so deserving of your support!
We have a special crew of kids at our school, and I love being their teacher!
My Project
We are learning about environments and nature. We learn about different animals and their habitats. This will also teach the kids to be responsible for taking care of an animal. Each child will get a chance to have a responsibility to care for the animal such as feeding, water, cleaning and lights. We will observe the animal and discover how they live in their environment and what they need in that environment to beable to survive. This is a great learning opportunity for my students. They love having responsibility in the classroom.
