My students are lovable, energetic, and eager students with multiple disabilities and autism. They deserve an inviting and comfortable space to call home for seven hours of the day. Our school is a Title I school with 100% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunches. Many of my students live in homes that are less than ideal. My classroom is a safe space for all students and I strive every day to make them feel loved and valued. Each and every one of my students is very special to me, and I want them to all have every opportunity to be successful. With these materials (books and posters) will give them opportunity to learn about African American History.
