My Project

Creating the optimal learning environment is a delicate balance. Students need the opportunity to learn in a comfortable and safe classroom while also feeling empowered to step into the leadership role. With COVID-19, many students have become dependent learners through the acts of sitting passively in a Google Meets and re-adjusting to social norms in a physical classroom.

My project aims to increase classroom comfort with new chairs while also creating small group learning opportunities where students can become the teacher of their group with portable whiteboard stands.

By reinventing what a traditional classroom experience is expected to be, I aim to engage my students in learning and empower them to lead the way for their peers.
