My Students

I teach young children at a local pre-k. My students, are unique, fearless and eager to learn more about everyday life and basic knowledge. I love that they are into technology and love school so much. My classroom has great attendance and they are excited to be here daily. The classroom I teach at is a part of a local Head Start and I have 20 students ages four to five years old. My classroom isn't rich in equipment and we would love some donations to make learning more fun. 90% of my students come from very low income homes.

My Project

Technology is a huge part of everyone’s life and is a learning essential for students. I would love to be able to help my students get familiar using technology and make learning more fun and enjoyable. My students come from poverty homes and some don’t even have TVs at their houses. Using an iPad will help build skills such as with hand-eye coordination, problem solving, the can learn to type and use multi touch navigation and many other great skills.

We can use an iPad for fun too, we could play songs for music time and listen to ebooks on the iPad.
