This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach amazing students who are often in need of social skills. What better way to engage a student than with a game, as they learn to take turns, share, be patient, and understand that winning or losing in a game is okay?

We will learn good sportsmanship and cheer for the person who wins the game while learning that not winning at times is also okay.

Having a snack while playing a game is part of socializing as well. Our school lunch period is scheduled pretty early in the day, so my students need a snack towards the end of the school day.
