Learn to Read and Explode the Code!

Help me give my students the ability to Explode the Code and learn to read with an Orton-Gillingham based program, perfectly suited for early literacy skills instruction!

My Students

Each year, I support between 12-15 students in our schools, whether that is directly on my caseload, or as a support to the other Special Education teachers. My kiddos range from Kindergarten to 2nd grade on my caseload, and up to 4th grade within our school. My students need additional support in their areas of intervention services.

My students need to learn with research-based, multi-sensory instruction that offers both visual and auditory cues that support my students and promote their independence.

My Project

We build the essential literacy skills needed for reading success: phonological awareness, decoding, vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, and spelling. This research-based and teacher-tested program meets and exceeds the National Reading Panel Standards.

I want to give my students the "Explode The Code difference".

I want to give them the opportunity for abundant practice and reinforcement opportunities for greater retention development of comprehension skills through reading in context and struggling readers.

Explode The Code content provides research-based, multi-sensory instruction for beginning and struggling readers, reinforcement for every skill in the “½ books” series, and allows for extra practice with consistent exercise formats. It includes simple directions and concrete examples to allow students to work and learn independently!!!
