This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the privilege of teaching some of the strongest and most resilient little boys and girls I have ever met. They deal with so many challenges in their short lives, but every morning they meet me with a smile and a desire to learn that is truly inspiring.

Coming from many different cultural backgrounds, my ESL students bring a wealth of experiences and diversity to our school to it make a special place.

My Project

Help me create a listening center for my ELL students to help them build vocabulary and comprehension, use correct pronunciation, and access to high interest books.

Our ELL students come from many different linguistic and cultural backgrounds, and with a wide range of life experiences.

A listening station can significantly contribute to their English language learning in all four domains: listening, speaking, reading and even writing.

The goal is to enhance the learning experiences of my students using a variety of methods. Please help me provide these experiences for my kids. Thanks!
