Learn To Cook for Life!

Help me give my students the opportunity to learn how to use a stand mixer to make bread, cookies, cakes, and anything else edible!

My Project

I teach Foods Tech (basic cooking) and Nutrition. I like to offer my students a chance to try new foods that they probably have never eaten (grains like millet, quinoa, and farro), alternative sources of protein (we made cookies with Cricket Flour to allow students to understand that cricket flour is full of protein. We are happily making other things as well; cinnamon rolls, cookies, rolls, etc.

What I love about my classes is that I get all kinds of student ready and excited to learn.

Some are headed for college, some go on to work and the military. Many are freshmen that will benefit from other cooking classes offered in our school. Additionally, many of mu students live in poverty and cannot afford to purchase a stand mixer; they come for the food. I want to ensure that their nutritional needs are met and your donation will go directly to that goal.

Please donate to this project for students to be able to create delicious and healthy food for life!
