I love instilling a love for reading in my students. I always make sure to reward when a student chooses to read and these fun bookmarks will be a great way to encourage them to read more! The games that I am requesting will make a difference in their learning because this year when my students had Friday Free Time and indoor recess I had no games for my students to play with their peers. The board games and learning games that I am requesting will give my students activities other than being on the internet that they can choose from when it is too cold for us to go outside. This school year we have had over 10 instances where we had to stay inside for recess and I want to make it a priority to provide my class with several activities they can choose from for indoor recess next year!
The clock, magnets, and turn-in bins will be helpful for making the classroom run smoothly.
The clock will be used for when students sign out to use the restroom. I have found that a digital clock is accessible to every student and makes signing out of class smooth and painless for students. The magnets will be used to hang up class posters and class information on the whiteboards in our classroom. The turn-in bins will be integral in collecting papers from students smoothly and in an organized fashion.
These requested items will make the school year so enjoyable for my students and I know that they will love using the games during free time!
