This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Working in an inner city school district, I have at least two parents who will bring in materials for their child, while the rest simply can't afford to do so.
My students' indoor recess toys have ripped, broken, gone through rain, and lost pieces that are no longer fun, so we just need new ones!
We have run out of legos for recess time and are in need of fun and engaging recess toys and games. Without the materials, how can my students look forward to indoor recess when it starts snowing or raining?
The building sets, rockets, and stem challenges will help my students with the rest of the school year. It is vial for students to enjoy playtime, and recess time even if it is indoors.
We want impactful learning to take place and continue until June with the right resources, but I can't do it without your help!
