This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Studies have shown that students learn best when they are able to explore their environment. One way that we can achieve this is by providing them with hands-on activities.
All my students are in 4th grade self-contained autism.
As students with autism, they need a lot of visuals and hands-on materials to fully support their learning. The materials in this project will help my students to learn literacy and numeracy in a fun and engaging way.
The magnetic letters and phonics set will help my students learn early literacy skills such as the alphabet, word families, and CVC. The beads and laces will help my students learn addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Help my students to be excited, focused, and retain information better by supporting our project!
