Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! The items I have selected are to help my students next year by having fun and staying engaged during our hands on activities. For example, the bean bag is selected so that students have a comfortable area to sit when reading in our classroom library. I also selected bins so the students can stay organized throughout the year. I have different color paints in my cart for arts and crafts. Math is an area where I’d like to have pocket stand chart and a couple Manipulatives for the students understanding. In my cart, I also have a laminator. My goal with the laminator, is to laminate as many manipulatives as possible for students to keep in their desk during our math time. Next year will be my first-year teaching and I will be a first-grade teacher. Therefore, I’d love and appreciate any help I could get with gaining new materials.

My goal is to have enough supplies for all students in the classroom to use without having to share with their classmates.

What makes my students so special is that my students are able to adapt to new hands-on learning very smoothly. I hope my wishlist will be a great start to their learning in first grade. With that, students will learn to be responsible for their own supplies. Thank you so much for your support.
