Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am currently teaching a mix of 3 and 4 year old Pre-K students. They are an energetic, creative and curious group of students. They enjoy learning through songs, dance and play. We are a Title 1 school and district.

My Project

I have chosen to focus on dramatic play with focus on home experiences. I also included a few items for our grocery store center. I have a home area for a center that needs to be upgraded. My students enjoy dramatic play and our classroom is in dire need of baby doll furniture and accessories. Items for my project will optimize learning through play. My students are all preschoolers; 3 & 4 years of age. They are eager to expand their imagination and play the "Mommy or Daddy". Thank you!
