This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income school, my students face many challenges in and out of the classroom. Despite these challenges, I am always looking for ways to keep them focused and learning.
My students are active, creative, and inquisitive.
They love to learn, move, and get their hands into their learning.
They find joy in playing together at recess. They find joy in celebrating each other accomplishments. They find joy in the little things. I find joy in them.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers is a great tool to find new and different ways to teach students, written and developed by teachers for teachers. I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase grade-level resources and activities for my students. The resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers are subject-based, grade-level appropriate, current, and relevant. A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will greatly help with effective planning and will be highly beneficial for my students as it will give me access to thousands of resources. The materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are creative and highly engaging really.
