I am a first grade teacher at a public school. I have twenty-two students who have limited experiences with reading. Most are not motivated to read. We do our best at our school to give them the motivation to read. We send home books daily, but sometimes my students will say no one was able to read with them. I often look at the Leapfrog books and think if they had these books they could do the reading themselves. So I am requesting a donation to buy Leapfrog reading books for my class. They could use them in class for independent reading and take them home also. They would be so motivated because this is something they can do on their own and if they need help it is right at their disposal. My class loves anything hands-on and I know they will love the Leapfrog products. Thank you for your consideration!
