Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach special education to first through fourth grade students. The majority of my students are struggling readers. I currently have two Leapfrog Pads in my classroom, and my students absolutely love using them! The problem is I currently have twenty students, so they only have access to the pads about once a week. I would love to encourage their love for reading by having more Leapfrog Pads available. I am asking for eight more pads and also other activity story books. This is so more students have access to the pads and they can read a variety of stories on them. Not only will it encourage their love for reading, it will also boost their confidence when it comes to reading!
