Help me give my students physical therapy equipment and chairs to allow them to participate with peers. These will help kids sit without back pain, sit at tables with peers, and complete skills that all their peers can.
These items will allow my students to sit on the floor during floor time with peers without back pain.
It will provide seating options so they can sit at the table with peers while also receiving sensory feedback movement to help them stay focused.
This equipment will also help encourage kids to participate in physical therapy services that will help them gain skills like jumping, running, climbing, riding bikes, etc. which will open up avenues for them to participate with peers their own age.
So many of the kids I work with are often told they can't or its too painful for them to complete every day tasks we don't even think about. This equipment helps decrease the gap from special education kiddos and regular education kiddos.
