Help me give my students a replacement MacBook Pro for school videography projects.

I teach Exceptional Children (special education) in a Title I school. All of our lessons are delivered through a computer. My students love technology, are inquisitive, are eager to participate, and have a growth mindset.
My students learn best when learning is made relevant.
They love hands-on activities and learning new programs. The ability to adapt to ever changing technology increases a student's marketability in a globally competitive job market. Many of my students have difficult home lives and we like to expose them to as many positive outlets as possible.
Learning to create and edit videos exceeds the curriculum expectations.
This MacBook Pro will be used by myself and students to shoot, edit, and create videos for our school. I am an Exceptional Children's teacher, chess club teacher, basketball coach, and unofficial school videographer. With the help of students we have created a digital yearbook, the morning news, and promotional videos to incentivize testing.
Technology can be a positive outlet for children adapting to a changing world.
My students are masterful with technology. However, the current MacBook Pro used to make all of these videos is retiring due to old age! It turns 10 in January which is no spring chicken in technology years! Editing and rendering on an outdated machine takes 3 to 4 times longer compared to a lean mean fighting machine.
Our school has 1200 students in 6-8 grade and this one computer will affect our students through either creating and editing, or receiving and analyzing.
Students will learn the latest editing techniques with the editing program Final Cut Pro in addition to shooting with a professional DSLR camera. Many students at my school come from low income households and 100% of the school is free and reduced price lunch.
