This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, we spend the majority of our day being read to, learning to read, and using our reading to learn about our world. These books will be used as read-alouds by the teacher, and then they will be placed in our classroom library for the students to read on their own. By first listening to the teacher's modeled reading, creates the perfect opportunity for the students to transfer their learning to independent reading.
Early childhood is the perfect time for children to fall in love with books!
I want to expand my students' knowledge of the world by bringing the world to them through literature. I also want to make their educational experience rich and exciting. This is just the beginning for their educational career, and it needs to be amazing!
