My Project

I am seeking funding for a Donors Choose Project aimed at supporting the social-emotional needs of third-grade students. In collaboration with our educational staff, we aim to empower students to take charge of their behavior and learning, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Third grade is a critical time in a child's development, where they begin to navigate more complex social interactions and academic challenges.

However, many students may face barriers to learning due to social-emotional issues. By addressing these needs early on, we can lay a foundation for academic success and overall well-being.

Our goal is to provide students with the tools and support they need to develop essential social-emotional skills, such as self-regulation, empathy, and resilience. Through targeted interventions and activities, we aim to:

Improve students' ability to manage their emotions and behavior.

Foster positive relationships among students and with their teachers.

Enhance students' self-confidence and sense of belonging in the classroom.
